The West Central Research and Outreach Center's weekly weather and crop report took last week off as they were busy doing field work.  It was about the only week suitable for spring fieldwork.  Like everyone else, the WCROC staff saw the forecast and tried to get as much done as possible before the rainy weekend.

The average temperature for the week of May 14 through May 20 was 53.9 °F.  The average is 56.9°F for this time.  We received 1.66 inches of precipitation and accumulated 53.5 growing degree units.  The average is 66 growing degree units for this time.
