The Highway 9 Pomme de Terre River Bridge, located southeast of Morris, is expected to reopen tomorrow afternoon, according to a news release from the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The bridge and roadway from Morris to Hancock has been closed since mid-June while crews completed the bridge replacement project.

The new Pomme de Terre River Bridge includes 10-foot shoulders to improve the safety of the roadway, as well as additional width on the north side to accommodate a future trail.
