Enduro race caps off Thursday at the fair

The Valu Ford and Chrysler Enduro Race capped off a busy Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Stevens County Fair in Morris. The day included the annual Daycare Day event and the 4-H Poultry Show in the morning along with the 4-H Goat, 4-H Lamb Lead, and 4-H Sheep shows Thursday afternoon. The Family Fun Show Carnival officially opened to the public along with the Lee Community Center booths.

Brodini Comedy and Magic Show, Strong Man, Animal Fest, Los Moralitos Circus, and laser tag will all continue to provide free entertainment to fair go-ers on Friday, Aug. 10. The 4-H events also continue Friday with the 4-H Swine Show at 8 a.m., 4-H Dairy Show at 11:30 a.m., and the 4-H Beef Show at 2:30 p.m.

The Dacotah Bank Xtreme Bull Riding will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Stevens County Fair grandstands. The Steele River Band (8 p.m.) and fireworks (after bull riding) are also scheduled for Friday night.
