Celebrating Service - Hancock's Fourth of July

The city of Hancock will be Celebrating Service as the theme for the annual Fourth of July celebration.

Events start on Tuesday with the Little Miss Hancock program at 6 p.m. at the school.  There are five participants in the program this year.  Read about them here.

Wednesday's schedule starts early with the Firemen’s Relief Association Pancake Feed from 7 to 9:30 a.m. at the Hancock Community Center.

The 5K Run/Walk begins at 7:30 a.m. from Page Lake

At 10 a.m., The Little League All-Star game at Little League Field

There will be inflatables for the kids from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Water Tower park.

The kiddie parade is at 1 p.m. with line up at 12:30 at the Water Tower

The big parade is at 1:30 p.m.

Following the parade, Thursday Night Jam will be playing at Della Conroy's studio.  People are welcome to bring their instruments and join in or just come to listen.  Art from 5 different artists will be on display.

The tractor pull starts at 3 p.m. near Trico.

And the day is capped off with fireworks at dusk at the ball field
