To kick off June Dairy Month, the Stevens County Dairy Princess provided a dairy basket donated by Riverview, LLP to the first baby born at Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris.
Jonathan and Allison Campbell welcomed their daughter, Ashlyn, on June 1. She weighed 7 pounds 15 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long.
Elizabeth Golombiecki, the county's Dairy Princess, along with Riverview, LLP representatives, presented the basket filled a variety of dairy goodies to Ashlyn's parents. It included a stuffed cow, a cow print blanket, cheese from Valley Queen, gifts cards to Willie's Supervalu, and three books..
This is the third year that the Dairy Princess has provided a dairy basket to the first baby born in June at SCMC.
