Experience island culture through dance when the Polynesian Paradise Dancers perform in the final event of the 2018-2019 University of Minnesota Morris Performing Arts Series.  All ages will enjoy watching the dancers perform in their gorgeous costumes on Saturday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m. This year's Performing Arts Series will take place in the upgraded Edson Auditorium.

Akemi Welsh started Polynesian Paradise Dancers (PPD), a professional Polynesian entertainment company specializing in the traditional dances and music of the Polynesian Islands, in 1993. The company since has had the honor of sharing its culture with audiences across the globe: PPD has visited 40 states and done 10 international tours, “spreading Aloha around the world.”

Feel the rhythm of Hawai’i and the Polynesian islands
