THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

POMME DE TERRE GARDEN CLUB PLANT SALE will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. at East Side Park in Morris.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7

A HOG ROAST will be held from 5 p.m. until gone at the Morris American Legion. DJ plays from 8 p.m. to midnight.



PRAIRIE PIONEER DAYS events will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Stevens County Fairgrounds. Highlights include craft and food vendors, kid’s games and inflatables, ribfest, and enduro race. Fireworks will be launched at dusk.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 8

A PIG ROAST will be held from Noon to 4 p.m. at the Morris Eagles Club.



PRAIRIE PIONEER DAYS events will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Stevens County Fairgrounds. The grand day parade starts at 3 p.m. Other events are scheduled at the Stevens County Historical Society and Museum.



MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

STEVENS COUNTY ECI meeting will be held a week later than usual due to the Labor Day holiday falling on the 1st Monday of the month. The meeting is from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Parent Education room in Pod A of the Morris Area Elementary School. Lunch will be provided.

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

THE STEVENS COUNTY TIMES will be published on Tuesdays as of this day.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 15

SEPTEMBERFEST will be held starting at 9 at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Highlights include fellowship dinner from 11 to 1; children’s carnival; car show; chili cook-off; tent shopping; silent auction and raffles. Celebrate Mexican Independence Day from 6 to 9 p.m.



GATHERINGS FOR WIDOWS AND WIDOWERS will meet for lunch at noon in the basement of Old No.1 in Morris. Order lunch off the menu and enjoy an opportunity to visit with old friends and meet new ones who are also experiencing life as a widow/widower. For questions call Rose at 320-589-3220.
