JOSH'S JOURNEY ITALIAN DINNER AND SILENT AUCTION will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Morris American Legion. Josh Giese, son of Sheldon Giese and Mary Greiner and a Morris Area graduate, was paralyzed from the chest down. Funds raised will assist with medical bills, needed adaptive equipment, home modifications, and transportation needs.

CODING WITH K.K.: INTRO TO SCRATCH FOR ADULTS & KIDS will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Morris Public Library. Open to parents/guardians and their children entering grades 3-7. Professor Kristin Lamberty will guide participants to get started in SCRATCH coding program. Pre-registration required. Space is limited.

FRIDAY FLICKS will be presented at 2 p.m. at the Morris Public Library. The movie will be rated PG and geared for elementary age and younger children.

WEST CENTRAL SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE CLASS OF 1954 will gather at 5:30 p.m. for a dinner reunion in the lower level of Old No. 1 in Morris. Especially invited to attend are the classes of 1953 and 1954, but any Aggie is welcome. This will follow the All School Reunion at the University of Minnesota Morris campus.

ENSEMBLE INTERSECTION CONCERT will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Humanities Fine Arts Recital Hall at the University of Minnesota Morris.


SILLY SOCK CREATURE MAKING will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Morris Public Library. Jenny Nellis will repurpose old socks into silly creatures. Supplies provided. Pre-registration required.

ABOUT 95 RIDERS FROM THE MONTEVIDEO AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS will by stopping by the Morris American Legion Club. They are raising money for the ALR scholarship program which helps pay for college for children of veterans. They will be coming through town around 12 noon down East 7th Street to main street, then to the Legion.

AFTER HOURS NIGHT will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Morris Public Library. Open to ages 11-18. Hang out at the library after closing time to read, play games, hang out and eat pizza. Pre-registration required.


VFW AUXILIARY SALAD LUNCHEON will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old No. 1 Southside in Morris. The free-will donation will benefit cancer aid and research.
