Minnesota farmers got some good news this week when President Donald Trump decided to at least wait on the termination of the North American Free Trade Agreement or NAFTA. For much of the past two years Trump has railed against NAFTA saying it caused the loss of thousands of jobs in the U.S. as one reason to terminate it. But, while NAFTA has faults, it's also played a very important role in the U.S. agriculture economy. Minnesota is just one example.

Officials in Stevens County are working to make sure addresses in cities in the county are correct. The addresses in rural areas have already been reviewed and mistakes corrected. But now, letters are being sent to more than 100 residents who have incorrect addresses in the county's emergency dispatch system. Those addresses will need to be changed in order to be accurate.
