Tigers suffer first softball loss

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta suffered its first loss of the softball season, falling to Yellow Medicine East 8-6 Tuesday at Wells Park.

The Sting used nine walks to scratch out the win. Three walks, two Tiger errors, and a two-run single by Danie Roden fueled the Sting’s six-run fourth inning.

The Tigers outhit the Sting 10 to 4.
