Tigers travel to Lac qui Parle Valley tonight

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta takes to the road tonight in search of a seventh-straight victory.

The undefeated Tigers will kick off with the 3-3 Eagles at Lac qui Parle Valley at 7 p.m.

The Tigers and BOLD are the only remaining unbeaten teams in the West Central Conference.

The Tigers hope to continue their dominance coming off a 55-7 win over Montevideo in last week's action. Quarterback Jacob Torgerson with 662 passing yards this season, has plenty of options in Tom Holland (526 rushing yards, 6 TDs), Jordan Staples (305 rushing yards, 6 TDs), Tanner Picht (267 rushing yards, 6 TDs), and Chandler Erickson (238 receiving yards).

LQPV beat Benson to open the season and suffered understandable losses to BOLD and Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City. But the Eagles will be primed to show they're a better team than the one that Paynesville blanked 28-0 last week. Lucas Mortenson (568 rushing yards, 6 TDs), JD Stuxness (341 yards) and quarterback Dylan Erickson (479 yards, 6 TDs) can be a formidable backfield.
