Girls Golf: Four Tigers earn WCC nods

The Morris/C-A girls golf team finished the West Central Conference season in third behind Minnewaska and BOLD. The Tigers had four individuals earn all-conference nods led by Shiori Legate, who took seventh overall.

Peyton Hennen (10th), Hannah Zimmel (11th), and Megan Kirkeide (T13th) all added conference honors.

At Benson, Legate took fourth with a 43. Hennen, Miranda Hesse, Kirkeide, and Zimmel were all in the top 15.

At Montevideo, Kirkeide and Legate led the Tigers with 45s and a tie for sixth. Hennen was also present in the top 10.

The Tigers open up Section 3AA play on Wednesday, May 24 at Oakdale in Buffalo Lake.
