Tiger fall athletics begin Monday, Aug. 16

All Morris Area High School and Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta fall athletics begin Monday, Aug. 16.

Athletes are reminded to have a current medical physical on file at the high school office. Physicals are needed every three years. If a student participates yearly, it is necessary to have this physical examination in seventh and 10th grades. A health questionnaire shall be completed annually by all athletes and could indicate the need for a physical examination prior to participation.

The signature of a parent or guardian approving participation is required. This form must be signed by the student and parent prior to participation. Also, parents must complete the MSHSL parental forms and payment of their fees at the Morris Area High School office, before a yellow slip is issued to the athlete. Chokio-Alberta athletes may sign up in Chokio or Morris Area prior to the start of the season. Yellow slips need to be given to coaches in order to practice the first day. The Morris Area High School office is open daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
