Tiger boys down the Sting

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta improved to 15-0 in the West Central Conference South boys' basketball standings with a 78-40 win over Yellow Medicine East Monday in Granite Falls.

For the Tigers, 14 players scored at least two points. Alex Erickson led the way with 22 points and Cory Hennen added 10.

Corey Nohl nabbed five steals, while grabbing four rebounds and dishing out four assists. Cole Riley also recorded four rebounds. Lincoln Arnold also had four assists.

Ryan Reishus tallied 10 points and five rebounds to pace the Sting. Dylan Lindstrom added nine points and six boards.

The Sting fell to 2-12 in the conference and 5-16 overall.
