Softball season ends for the MA/C-A Tigers

The Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta softball team defeated Jackson County Central 5-3 in the Section 3AA playoffs on Tuesday, May 28 in Marshall, and trailed Pipestone 2-0 in the second inning of a Tuesday game suspended because of rain.

The Tigers ended up losing to Pipestone 6-1, resuming play on Wednesday, May 28 and ending their playoff run and season. The Tigers were one game short of 20 wins this season with a 19-7 record.

Against JCC, Lauren Reimers was 4-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI, and Becca Holland was 3-for-4 and doubled twice.

Kayla Pring picked up her third win since Saturday, allowing five hits and three earned runs in seven innings.
