Jordan Thompson was masterful on the mound for Montevideo, allowing only an unearned run and striking out six in the Thunder Hawks’ West Central Conference win over the Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta Tigers on Tuesday, May 20 in Morris.

Thompson also drove in two runs and Spencer Hildahl drove in three in the 7-1 win.

Jeff Rohloff was 2-for-4 and scored twice and Ricky Schmitz was 2-for-3 and scored a run.

Bryce Jergenson, Corey Storck, Gage Backman, and Jase Wilts all had one hit in the contest. The Tigers finish up the regular season play at Minnewaska at 4 p.m. today (Wednesday) before beginning Section 3AA playoffs on Saturday, May 24 in Montevideo.
