MA/C-A edged by Paynesville

Josh Mackedanz scattered three hits and the Paynesville Bulldogs edged the Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta Tigers in a West Central Conference game Saturday, May 17 in Roscoe.

Mackedanz allowed just one unearned run in the first while striking out seven. Blake Karsch doubled and drove in a run to lead the Bulldogs to the 3-1 victory.

Gage Bachman was 2-for-3 to lead the Tigers.

Morris/C-A dropped to 3-7 in the conference and 8-8 overall. The Tigers host Benson today (Monday) at 3:30 p.m. and Montevideo tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5 p.m. before traveling to Minnewaska on Wednesday for a makeup game at 4 p.m.
