Tigers find first W over LQPV

Morris Area / Chokio-Alberta baseball swung for the fence on Friday, April 11 in Madison and came home with the Tigers first W.

Nick Solvie’s three-run double in the fourth inning was the telling blow in Tiger’s 7-3 win over Lac qui Parle Valley on Friday night.

MA/C-A’s Corey Storck was 2-for-4 and drove in two runs. Tigers’ pitcher Noah Grove worked a complete game to earn the victory.

LQPV’s Brandon Hill doubled twice and drove in a run Dylan Lillejord also had a RBI.

The Tigers play host to the rivals from Benson at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15 at Chizek Field.
