Storm offense heats up in Worthington

It took the Morris Benson Area boys a while to warm up Saturday in Worthington on the way to a 10-4 Storm victory in Southwest Conference action.

The Storm offense started on fire late in the first, coming back from a 2-0 deficit to take a 3-3 tie score into the first break.

The Storm took control in the second period, outscoring the Trojans 4-1.

The Storm offense stayed hot in the third netting three more goals, while the defense shut down the Trojans.

Brody Gimberlin, Mac Beyer, Riley Blake, and Tanner Picht each scored twice. Also scoring for the Storm were Lincoln Pahl and Tanner Mikkelson with one goal apiece.

Kyle Kennedy was the winning goalie with 14 saves.
