Storm season ends with loss to Flyers

Morris Benson Area fell to Little Falls 9-2 in the Section 6A play-off game Tuesday.

The Flyers showed how they had earned the No. 1 seed in the section, keeping pressure on the Storm with 54 shots on goal.

Storm goalie Matt Huot was tough in the net, stopping 45 of those shots.

Midway through the first, the score was tied after Tanner Picht scored on an assist from Kelly Engquist. By the end of the first, the Flyers were up 4-1.

The Storm's other goal came in the second period when Luke Schwarz netted one off of Andrew Rentz, but the Flyers added two for a 6-2 lead.

Little Falls put up two more goals in the final period, while holding the Storm scoreless.
