Storm girls win first of four road games this week

The Morris Benson Area girls' hockey team won its fifth straight game Monday as the Storm upended Pequot Lakes 8-2 in a non-conference contest.

It was the first of four road games for the Storm this week. Morris Benson travels to Long Prairie Tuesday, Marshall on Thursday, and Worthington on Saturday.

The Storm is now 14-2 overall. Pequot Lakes drops to 3-15.

Dani Schultz netted five points with four goals --three in the second period -- and one assist to spark the Storm's offense.

The Storm also got two goals from Sara Rajewsky and three assists apiece from Sam Falk and Monica Lindblad as the Storm outshot Pequot Lakes, 50-19.

Falk and Bekah Larsen also netted a goal for the Storm.
