Schultz records hat trick in win over Dragons

Dani Schultz tallied three goals and Sara Rajewsky scored two goals and had two assists to lead the Morris Benson Area girls past Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato 7-2 Thursday in a non-conference girls' hockey game.

With the win the Storm girls improve to 12-2 on the season. They are 4-0 in the Southwest Conference.

The hat trick helps Schultz pad her stats on the Minnesota Girls' Hockey Coaches Association leaderboards. She now has 76 points, which is 18 more than the next highest point total.

Morgan DeHaan and Moriah Hovde recorded the other two goals for the Storm.

The Storm outshot the Dragons 42-19.

Brooke Falk had 17 saves for the Storm.

Ellie Black and Emily Euerle scored one goal each for the Dragons, while Kati Hanson recorded 35 saves.
