Tigers fall to Falcons by two

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta dropped another close game, this time to Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City at home Thursday night 47-45.

The Falcons scored on a coast-to-coast layup with about 20 seconds remaining to break a 45-45 tie.

Erica Domnick's double-double of 16 rebounds and 14 points paced the Tigers. Beth Holland added nine points and six assists.

Katie Knisley had 18 points and Chastity Pautzke 15 to lead the offensive charge for the Falcons. Knisley also supplied 15 rebounds and six steals.

The Tigers are now 5-8 in the West Central Conference South, while the Falcons improve to 7-5.
