Gymnastics: Lebrija earns honorable mention at WCC

Olivia Lebrija earned honorable mention after her ninth place finish in all around competition at the West Central Conference meet Saturday, Feb. 10 in Morris. She was the lone Tiger to be honored by the conference at the completion of the meet.

Melrose won the WCC title with 142.875 points. Benson/KMS took second with 138.85 points, Long Prairie-Grey Eagle/Browerville rounded out the top three with 128.950 points.

Lebrija took 10th on the balance beam with a stuck routine and tied for 10th on the floor. Tasha Koehl and Callie Snell also stuck their beam routines for the Tigers.

MAHACA gymnastics wraps up the 2017-2018 season at the Section 8A meet Saturday, Feb. 17 in Perham.
