Basketball: Hancock records 18th win

Noah Kannegiesser led the way with 29 points as Hancock downed Ashby 63-37 on Friday, Feb. 9 in Hancock. The senior, who recently verbally committed to Concordia St. Paul, connected on five three-pointers while also leading the Owls in assists with four.

With the win, the Owls improved to 18-1 on the year.

Bennett Nienhaus added 11 points and six steals, while Kaleb Koehl had 10 points for Hancock.

The Owls travel to Dawson-Boyd Monday, Feb. 12 then host Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Friday, Feb. 16.
