He's had the boys all-time scoring record for about a year now, but on Saturday, Feb. 3, Hancock's Noah Kannegiesser surpassed the girls all-time scoring record as well to become Hancock's top scorer in the history of both basketball programs.

Kannegiesser needed just six points entering Saturday's game to surpass former Hancock girls player Bree (Holleman) Smith's record of 2,305 career points set in 2010. After an 0-2 start shooting, he connected on a three-pointer just under two minutes into the half. Around the 12-minute mark, Kanneegiesser drained a top of the key three-pointer to break Holleman's record. At that point, the game was paused to recognized Kannegiesser.
