Basketball: Owls cruise to victory over Warriors


Noah Kannegiesser scored 30 points and Bennett Nienhaus followed with 21 points as Hancock nearly doubled up Wheaton/Herman-Norcross Thursday, Jan. 11 in Wheaton. The Owls raced out to a 48-16 halftime lead and cruised to an 82-44 win over the Warriors.
Nienhaus added five rebounds and seven steals to come within sniffing distance of a triple-double.
