Tigers host triangular at RFC

The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta boys' swimming and diving team was host to a triangulur meet with Montevideo and Perham on Dec. 20.

Montevideo won with 175 points.

The Tigers' 200 medley relay team recorded a time of 2:03.95.

In the 200 freestyle Roy Reese swam a 2:03.62.

In the 100 individual medley Andrew Messner finished with a time of 1:36.15.

In the 50 freestyle J.P. Pirello swam a 31.16; Jacob Just swam a 41.91; Brett Blom finished in 1:04.07 for a new personal best and a three-second time drop; Dalton Pieske swam a new personal-best time of 29.99; Owen Erickson swam a 30.83; Tanner Larson had a season-best time of 30.16; and Peter Erickson finished with a new personal-best time of 26.79.

In the 100 freestyle Owen Erickson finished in 1:14.75, while Vaughn Dieter recorded a time of 1:01.83.

Roy Reese recorded a time of 5:48.68 in the 500 freestyle.

Two Tiger teams swam in the 200 freestyle relay with the B team recording a time of 2:15.76 and the A team finishing in 2:01.99.

Andrew Messner swam a personal-best time of 1:33.93 in the 100 backstroke, while Vaughn Dieter finished in 1:11.99.

In the 100 breaststroke Mickey Cotter swam a 1:28.15.

The 400 freestyle relay B team finished in 5:26.90 and the A team recorded a time of 4:16.12.

The Tigers travel to Detroit Lakes on Jan. 8.
