Beyer notches hat trick in Storm's 10-6 loss at Windom

Mac Beyer notched a hat trick and Brody Gimberlin scored twice, but Morris Benson Area fell 10-6 Saturday at Windom Area.

The Storm's offense produced well, but the defense fell flat, surrendering 49 shots. First-year goalie Kyle Kennedy was able to turn back just 39 of them.

Brody Gimberlin's goal at 2:20 of the second period cut Windom's lead to 4-2, but Windom answered with four straight to take back control.

Jordan Staples recorded the Storm's other goal. Beyer also assisted on a goal and Tanner Picht assisted on two goals.
