Hennen leads Tigers, earns all-conference honors

Cassidy Hennen's 45 led Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta to a third-place finish in the final conference meet of the season Monday at The Crossings in Montevideo.

Shiori Legate finished 11th overall with a 50. Lily Erdal shot 54 and Maddie Hennen carded a 53. The Tigers posted a 202.

BOLD's Chloe Altmann was the medalist with a 40.

BOLD shot 179 to finish the season with a clean sweep, winning all seven West Central South meets, for a first-place standing.

Montevideo came in second and the Tigers took third on the season.

Cassidy Hennen finished fourth in the conference. Top 12 are considered all conference.

"I was thrilled to see her finish her final regular season with two great scores of 45 (Benson and Monte)," said coach Austen Miller.

"The girls are all playing well right now and I am anxious for sub-sections," Miller added "Monte will be the team to beat at subs. We beat them in Olivia and I would be beside myself if we beat them in Ortonville!"
