Baseball: Tigers down Falcons in five

Jordan Staples steals second Tuesday in Morris.

All nine starters for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta got a hit in a 13-2 drubbing of Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City on Tuesday.

The Tigers led 4-2 after two innings. They broke it open in the third inning with six runs and chased the Falcons' starter David Kinzler with six more in the fourth.

Mac Beyer started for the Tigers and completed all five innings for the win. He also had a pair of RBI doubles and scored two runs.

Chandler Erickson, Jake Torgerson, and Brody Bahr each had two hits for the Tigers.
