In the second quarter the Owls were able to start moving the ball through the air but would only find the end zone once. Starting from their own 20 yard line Hancock, on their second possession of the quarter, had a great throw and catch for 66 yards to Jordan Miller off of the arm of Holleman. The drive would be capped-off four plays later as Holleman would connect with Steege on an eight yard pass,. The two point pass failed.
