Tigers spoil homecoming at YME

The Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta football team scored four touchdowns, all in the fourth quarter, to defeat Yellow Medicine East 28-25 Friday night at Granite Falls.

With the Tigers trailing by five, Chandler Erickson scored a TD with only 49 seconds remaining in the game to take the lead. The Tigers' defense held off the Sting for the win.

Down 18-0, the Tiger scoring started at the 11:39 mark of the fourth quarter when Tim Ostby scored on a five-yard run.

Less than two minutes later Erickson returned a kickoff 79 yards for another Tiger touchdown.

Logan Manska scored the other Tiger touchdown with 4:13 on the clock.

The Tigers are now 4-3, while the Sting remain winless. The regular season wraps up Wednesday night when BOLD comes to Big Cat Stadium.
