Kolden leads Tigers at Granite Falls

Morris Area's Jordan Kolden tied for second place at Monday's West Central Conference South golf meet at Granite Falls.

Kolden shot a 38, along with Montevideo's Ryan Knudson and Phillip Ward.

Yellow Medicine East edged conference leader Montevideo by two strokes.

YME, led by medalist Mitch McCosh with a 37, shot a 159. Montevideo and Benson/Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg came in at 161 each.

Taylor Olson of YME, Cole Merten of BOLD, and Sam Peterson of Benson/K-M-S were tied for fifth, each with a 39.

The Tigers and BOLD tied for sixth place with 180s.

The other Tigers score were Zach Giese's 45, Michael Anderson's 47, and Andrew Rentz's 50.
