Tiger boys snap 3-game losing streak

Cole Riley scored 20 of his game-high 24 points in the second half to spur a Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta comeback that tripped up BOLD 64-53 on Friday night in West Central South boys' basketball.

Down by six, 32-24, at halftime, the Tigers outpointed the Warriors 40-21 in the second half.

The Tigers shot at a 50-percent clip (26-of-52) and built a 34-26 advantage in board control.

Behind Riley came Mac Kampmeier and Dan Tiernan with 10 each, and Eric Riley with nine points.

C. Riley earned a double-double grabbing 11 rebounds. Cannon recorded eight boards, whie Arndt and Kampmeier had seven apiece.

Brandon Ochs led the Warriors with 15 points and then in tight order came Kyle Athmann with 11, Kyle Krause 10, and Zach Remillard with nine.
