Tiger girls fall to 0-3
Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta fell to 0-3 on the season, while Yellow Medicine East remained unbeaten in girls' basketball with a 46-30 win over the Tigers Friday.
"The Tigers played like we had no energy," said coach Dale Henrich.
"The Sting switched back and forth on defense from man-to-man to zone and that seemed to keep us confused," explained Henrich. "We didn't rebound very well, only coming up with one offensive rebound.
"One bright point was we are continuiing to cut down on our turnovers."
Sarah Kuhn led the Tigers with eight points, four rebounds, and two assists.
Emily Baker had 13 points, eight rebounds and three steals to help the Sting. Angie Scheffler chipped in with 10 points and four assists. Gretchen Rigge and Steph Larson had seven points each.
