UMAC volleyball coaches join online chat

For the first time in the history of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), the league will conduct a live online chat with all eight of its head volleyball coaches on Thursday, Aug. 26 beginning at 9:45 a.m. Four coaches will each fill two half-hour sessions that will lead up to the announcement of the UMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll results on

Crown College head coach Kimmie Moehring, Martin Luther College's Becky Cox, the University of Minnesota, Morris' Chad Braegelmann and Northwestern College's Beth Wilmeth will answer questions from the audience for a half hour beginning at 9:45 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., Bethany Lutheran College's Sue Forrey and College of St. Scholastica's Dana Moore will join coaches Heidi Smith from Northland College and Chelsea Albrecht from Presentation College. Following the conclusion of their half-hour session, the poll results and conference preview will be posted.

Media, fans and other followers of UMAC Volleyball can join the chat by visiting on Aug. 26. 

All questions in Thursday's chat session will be screened before being presented to the coaches. The coaches will try to answer as many questions from the audience as possible in their half-hour window.
