Buddies Chippewa team loses to Minnewaska

Buddies' Chippewa League baseball team came up against a strong Minnewaska team and lost 9-1.
Minnewaska scored two runs in the first to take a 2-0 lead and the score remained at that until the top of the 7th when Minnewaska added seven to take a 9-0 lead.
Buddies avoided the shut out by scoring one run in the bottom of the 7th. Andrew Shaw lead off with a walk and scored on a double by Michael Milander. Buddies was unable to get any more hits, leaving the final score 9-1.
Collin Brown started for Buddies and took the loss. He gave up two runs on two hits with no walks and struck out seven. Chandler Gramm followed with three scoreless innings. He walked one batter and struck on three. Cody Greiner and Ryan Ascheman combined to pitch the 7th. They gave up seven runs on three hits, walked five, and struck out one.
