Croatt and Gramenz win top honors at the UMAC Championships

Two University of Minnesota, Morris track and field athletes were recognized at the UMAC Indoor Championships in Duluth.

Senior Megan Croatt was named female Track Athlete of the Meet at the UMAC Indoor Championships.

Croatt, a reigning outdoor all-American sprinter, won three events outright: the pole vault (3.05 meters - new UMM record), the 200-meter dash, and the 55-meter dash, which set a record for Burns Fieldhouse at St. Scholastica.

The Bellingham native also ran in the 4 X 400 meter relay which finished second.

To top off a record-breaking indoor season, sophomore Todd Gramenz was named male Track Athlete of the Meet.

This year Gramenz, of St. Paul, toppled the long standing (since 1972) 55-meter dash record--twice.

At the UMAC Championships, he won three events: the 55-meter dash, the 200-meter dash (breaking a 1994 UMM record) and the 4 X 200 meter relay.
