Talking It Over -- In the midst of a move

We are now in our new location and about 80 percent moved. However, I would say we are more like 50 percent set up and ready to go. It will take a little more time to get everything into a routine so I hope you will bear with us a bit when it comes to the next few weeks and issues of the paper.

I have already noticed that I will be spending a lot more time in my car then ever before. I am trying to get a timeline set up as to where I will be working during what hours of the day but that is very difficult as there are always pictures and activities taking place to fall into those designated times. I have come to the conclusion that I will need to get a cell phone of my own, not just borrowing my husband's, and allow people to contact me that way. You can also contact me by email with my personal address of or by calling either the Morris newspaper office or my home number.

I apologize for any inconvenience this is making for our readers but hopefully we will have things into a routine very soon and you will not even notice that anything has changed.

We still have a few pieces of office furniture left to get rid of so please check out the ad on the classified page to see if there is anything you can make use of. The price is right, all you have to do is move it.

I look forward to the privilege of serving the Hancock Record readers each week by continuing to cover our area events and stay in touch with what is going on in our community and surrounding area. Please feel free to contact me anytime you have a concern or suggestion. We need your input and also your cooperation and understanding.
