Preteens kick off Kiwanis Talent Show

MORRIS – Dancer Brienna Dybdahl took first place in the first of four weekly talent shows hosted by the Morris Kiwanis.

Kaedon Fischer’s karate demonstration earned him second place, while the singing duo of Zavier Running Hawk and Jackson Hallman took third.

All four have earned the right to compete at the contest finals on Friday, July 11 during Prairie Pioneer Days.  

The Kiwanis will host additional competitions throughout the month. This year, the first three Thursday competitions will be designated by categories according to the Minnesota State Fair Amateur Contest guidelines. Adults, ages 20 and up, will compete on June 12. Teens ages 13 to 19 will compete on June 19. The final night of competition, June 26, will be open to all competitors.
