The Morris Area Junior High boys and girls choir performed with the high school groups on Monday, May 19 for the last choir concert of the school year.

The boys choir opened up the concert with a traditional American Folk song "Two in the Middle". They also sang "Runaway" - the 1961 #1 hit by Del Shannon (See video). Tyler Reimers belted out the beginning solo while Zach Hughes accompanied on the guitar during the piece.

The junior high girls choir directed by Stacy Erdal sang six pieces, including "A Pebble in the Water" that featured her daughter Lily Erdal on the clarinet (See video). The song was about the rippling effect of your actions, both positive and negative. The group also sang "Can You Keep a Secret?" a delightful original that captured the fun and also the challenge of keeping a secret between friends.
