Man in fatal western Minnesota crash identified
DILWORTH, Minn. – Authorities have released the identity of a Moorhead man who was found dead in a vehicle that crashed in Dilworth near Moorhead, Minn., on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Dale L. Tenderholt, 50, who was an engineer with the BNSF railroad was the lone occupant of a vehicle that left the road and ended up in a ditch close to BNSF railroad property about 1:25 a.m. Tuesday, Dilworth police said.
Authorities were still working Thursday, Aug. 9, to determine a cause of death, according to Dilworth Police Chief Ty Sharpe.
Born in 1968 in Fergus Falls, Tenderholt grew up in Clay County and graduated from Barnesville High School in 1987.
