The weather turned for the better as the sun came out in the afternoon in Hancock for the city's annual July 4 festival.

The kiddie parade and main parade were two of the main activities for the afternoon. The afternoon alslo include a music jam by bluegrass musicians who played on the porch of Della Conroy's art studio and a tractor pull at Trico.

The festival concludes with planned fireworks at dusk.
