The Hancock Homemaker's group went on a day trip last Friday to Battle Lake. They stopped in Hoffman to shop at a specialty shop and had lunch at the Dew Drop Inn. From there they drove to Evansville and visited the center displaying art to raise funds for homeless veterans. They then drove to Battle Lake and shopped and browsed at the specialty shops and went to Inspiration Peak and climbed to the top and had dinner at the Peak Supper Club. Members who went were Sharon Van Eps, Jeanette Joos, Marilyn Nohl, Joanna Rustad, Janet Malo, Marilyn Maanum, Carol Naig, Kathy Meierding and Yvonne Krupke. A fun day was had by all.

Sidney Noordmans was a Saturday afternoon caller at Ken and Audrey Evink's.

Last week Margaret Cunningham spent a few days at the Brian Meyer home in Brandon, S.D.

Michael Steen spent Friday and Saturday at his mother's, Marilyn and Marvin Grammentz.

Members from the Congregational Church in Hancock went to the home of Rev. Ginger Beck in Glenwood on Sunday for worship service and pot luck dinner.

Barb and Mark Gausman, Stephen and Adie were Friday night and Saturday night guests at the home of Bruce and Jan Malo.

On Sunday, Bruce and Jan Malo drove to Sandstone and attended the Midwest Country Music Theatre show there.
