LifeRight hog roast June 5 in Alexandria

From the Alexandria Echo Press

LifeRight Outreach, founded by Hancock native Mark Foss, will hold its third annual hog roast on Saturday, June 5 from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at LifeRight Outreach Center, 1906 6th Avenue East, Alexandria.

Foss, notorious in the area as a drug addict, drug dealer and frequent visitor to jails and prisons, has been clean eight years and started LifeRight. Since then, he has made it his goal to pay it forward to other lost souls searching for a way out of their addictions. One of those ways is through LifeRight, a home and faith-based program to help those getting back into mainstream society get a job and some productive, healthy order in their lives.

The facility took in its first clients in February 2009. Since that time, 29 men have had the opportunity to turn their lives around and overcome their addictions by developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.
