Ivy Rose Kosbob and Little Hands Helping Morris are paying it forward

MORRIS -- Ivy Rose Kosbob was recognized by Pay it Forward Stevens County for organizing Little Hands Helping Morris, a group of students dedicated to doing monthly community service projects in the Morris area.

Since June, the Little Hands Helping Morris have made lap blankets for patients at Stevens Community Medical Center, organized a lemonade stand during Crazy Days, and donated books and canned goods to the Stevens County Food Shelf, among other projects. 

Kosbob was surprised with the award while the group was hosting an ice cream and pie social for the residents of West Central Christian Homes.

Members of Little Hands Helping Morris are pictured with members of the Pay it Forward Stevens County committee which includes Morris Pizza Ranch, Morris Sun Tribune, Bank of the West, West Central Screen and Print, the Regional Fitness Center, Superiorand Westmor Industries and Hancock Concrete, Stevens Community Medical Center and KMRS/KKOK Radio Stations.

Nominations can be dropped off at any of the participating businesses. The committee will meet once per month to pick one person who best exemplifies paying it forward.
