Cantral-Schrupp Wedding

Jared Schrupp and Amy Cantral were united in marriage on August 21, 2010 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in South Shore, S.D. Parents of the groom are Randy & Robin (Meers) Schrupp of Milbank; parents of the bride are Tom (and Merrian) Cantral and Wendy (and Kerry) Lindblad, all of Rapid City, S.D. Officiating pastors were Rev. Kenneth Nelson of Our Savior's Lutheran and Rev. Michael Enderle (family friend) of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, S.D.

Grandparents of the groom are Wilfried and Dorismae Meers of rural Chokio, and Betty (and Harland) Jeseritz of Kerkhoven. Grandparents of the bride are Roger and Edyth Gagnon, Peggy Mueller, and Betty Chouinard.

The maid of honor was Nicola Obeney, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelli Hey, Samantha (Schrupp) Nei, Rose Hervagault, Molly McGrane, and Chelsie Schrupp. Flower girl was Angelica Boyle.

The best man was Marty Schoenleber, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jason Schoenleber, Michael Nei, Michael Ekeren, Jackson Schwandt, and Justin Stoks. Ring bearer was Braeden Nei.

Ushers were Dale Hermans, Chris Halverson, Jeremiah Rose, and John Wachal. Special music was provided by Colleen Quade and Rev. Ken Nelson.

The bride wore a taffeta jewel-neck gown with a fitted, ruched bodice and full skirt that featured a full, sweeping train. The flower girl was attired in a matching replica of the bride's gown. The bridesmaids wore sleeveless taffeta tea-length dresses with an empire waist and V neckline, in cornflower blue with moss green satin sashes. The groom wore a black tuxedo with a white vest and green tie; groomsmen were attired in black tuxedos with matching green vests. The bride chose white gerber daisies for her bouquet and the bridesmaids carried bouquets of long-stemmed daisies.

Following the afternoon ceremony, a reception was hosted at Lunkers Supper Club on beautiful Lake Kampeska in Watertown, S.D. A dance followed with music provided by D.J., Dorene Foster.

Jared is a graduate of Milbank High School and USD in Vermillion, and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in history. He also serves as a dormitory supervisor on campus there. Amy will graduate from USD Dec. 18 and is currently doing an internship at the Veteran's Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. The couple's address is Jared and Amy Schrupp, PO Box 134, Vermillion SD 57069.
