A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 13, at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud for Lawrence E. Hansen, 85, of St. Cloud, who died March 7. Burial, with Military Honors, will be at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery at 1:45 PM.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Lawrence was born on November 5, 1927, in Sebeka, to Matt and Manda (Knutson) Hansen. He grew up on the family farm and served in the US Army from 1946 to 1948. Lawrence worked for the Great Northern Railroad in Montana, and worked construction in Minnesota before becoming disabled.

Lawrence is survived by: sons Wendell of Seattle, WA, Matthew (Linda) of North Pole, AK; grandchildren Anthony, Corey, Jake, and Kevin (Mercedes) Hansen, Kristin (Jeremy) Young, Rachel (Tyler) Yancey, Sarah (Dean) Shandy, Spencer Ferguson; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters Doris (Wallace) Miller, Bernette Clausen; brother Harold (Geraldine); many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, former wives Patsy, Faith, daughters Wanda Ferguson, Becky, and son Mark.
