Foss, Reller grab UMAC honors

Brendon Foss leads the list of University of Minnesota, Morris Cougars that were honored by the UMAC on Wednesday, March 5. Foss was named to the UMAC First Team and the All-Defensive Team for mens basketball. Evan Reller was named All-UMAC Honorable Mention. Jordan Geiske was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

Foss led the team with 12.7 points per game and was second on the team with 7.3 rebounds per game. He shot 50.2% from the field, ranking fifth in the league and hit 65 three pointers, which was 22 more than he had in career coming into this season. His 132 defensive rebounds led the team this season. He also led the team with 37 steals and 34 blocks on the year.

Reller was second in the UMAC in field goal percentage, hitting 57.1% of his shots from the field. His 7.5 rebounds per game were second in the conference. During the conference season, Reller grabbed 2.4 offensive rebounds per game which ranked sixth.
